This member of the ministry team plays for services and leads the overall music ministry of the church, which includes the graded music program. Associate Pastor for Children, Youth and Families: First Baptist Church of Boone, N.C. (www.boonefirstbaptist.org), located in downtown Boone and adjacent to Appalachian State University, is seeking a full-time associate pastor to develop relationships and implement programs to attract and grow ministries to children, youth and families. First Baptist, established in 1871, is a moderate Baptist church of 325 resident members who support CBF, the BSCNC and the SBC. Wake Forest Baptist Church, a dynamic CBF-affiliated church of more than 900 members in Wake Forest, N.C., is actively seeking a minister of youth and missions as part of a multi-staff team. This position will primarily oversee a vital, growing youth ministry averaging 50-60 weekly. This position also includes responsibilities of overseeing the church’s mission efforts. Masonboro Baptist, a diverse coastal community church, is prayerfully seeking a youth minister. Masonboro has approximately 400 active members and is affiliated with the North Carolina Baptist Convention and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. A college degree and some relevant experience are required, but applicants need not be ordained. The youth minister will be responsible for the development and implementation of the youth ministry (grades 6-12) programs, and will provide pastoral care to our youth and their families. He or she would be responsible for all aspects of the youth ministry, including curricula, activities, music, projects, missions and other tasks that may arise to fulfill the objective of a vibrant youth ministry. A background in planning and leading contemporary worship is desirable. This position will be open beginning June 1. Fellowship Baptist Church, a CBF church in Fitzgerald, Ga., is seeking a part-time (up to 20 hrs weekly) children/youth coordinator. Responsibilities include planning and leading Wednesday night and Sunday morning activities. This would be an ideal position for a seminary student.
